A Summary of Francisco Domenech’s Political Path

Francisco J. Domenech was born in 1978 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico(UPR) where he earned both his degree in Political Science in 1999 and his Juris doctor in 2003 from the university’s School of Law. Francisco became the first statehooder in the university to be elected President of the student body council in the 1999-2000 academic year. He has participated twice in the “Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition” international rounds as a representative of UPR School of Law and finished in the 15% top oralists.

Mr. Domenech started off as the President’s chief legal counsel giving legal advice and representing the senate’s interest before courts. He later became the director in the office of Legislative services in the public relations legislative assembly before moving to Politank, a government affairs law firm specializing in developing schemes that defend private interests before legislative forums. Under his administration in the legal services, he lengthened the services made available by the departments’ library, managed a budget of $11 million annually and took part in consideration of about 800 legislative Pieces. Francisco Domenechhas represented young democrats of America in the Democratic National committee between 2007 and 2012.
